HUMTOO'S HUMCAST PROJECT

The deadline has now passed for HUMTOO's HUMCAST project. We're really pleased with the high standard and the range of tracks pitched for the project.

HUMCAST will be HUMTOO's Podcast, and this project is all about finding the theme tune to brand our HUMCAST. We will work with the winning music maker to refine the track so it makes out podcast instantly recognisable.

We're looking for your input! We'll be choosing the winner in a couple of weeks, and in the mean time, we'd like to hear what tracks you think are suitable. We wont necessarily choose the track with the most Hum's, but we will take into account which tracks have been Hummed, so get humming and let us know what you think!

HUMTOO Mixtapes Explained

Currently we have online 10 mixtapes which we’re looking to fill over the next few weeks.

How mixtapes work is outlined in the How It Works section of HUMTOO. Library mix tapes are sets of high quality HUMTOO tracks grouped by theme. They appear at the top of any search that they apply to and can also be found by typing "mix tapes" into the search bar.

Selected by HUMTOO, these tracks are of the highest quality and are a quick and easy resource for content creators, particularly when pressured for time.

HUMTOO partners with Phangan Film Festival

The Phangan Film Festival grew out of a pure love for meaningful independent filmmaking. Additionally, we are world travelers who rejoice in the cross-cultural expansion that subtly transforms all those who wander far and wide, and we embrace film as a medium for this soul-level evolution.

The Phangan Film Festival are committed to providing the local community as well as travelers to this beautiful tropical island with a diverse presentation of high-quality independent films from around the world. The festival themes are NATURE and SPIRIT, two widely cherished and intimately related subjects which bear increasing relevance for both our island and our planet at large. The third annual Phangan Film Festival will take place 12-14 March 2010.

The Phangan Film Festival hope that this initiative will profoundly touch festival-goers, stimulate thoughtful reflection on our own ways of life, and bring about appropriate attitudinal change and responsible action. Four River Film Festival Call For Entries

The Four River Film Festival will take place for the second time and it is
held annually. This year the Festival will be organized from 10th - 13th
September in Karlovac. The newest film and video accomplishments from young
authors will be presented on it and the competition will be based on an
international level. Authors between 14 and 20 years of age can take part in
the festival.

Organizers are Croatian Film Clubs Association and Cinema Club Karlovac

*Submission deadline* for 2nd Four River Festival is *1st July 2009.*
